Example Casting

The Vogue and Marie Antoinette

Casting was for hundreds of models……………

Designer…and Stylist …..pulling clothes, from showroom.

Set up and production, concepts and assigning models to MUA/hair.

Agency approval, manager approval.

Concepts overviewed by staff, model times, and staff are predetermined for faster production.

Although, many times models change, or are added. or clothes are displaced, or people run late.

Balancing. an entire staff, includes. lots of preparation and patience.

Models and staff sign releases, mostly for publications and protection.

Other shoots below are examples of in times and staff. I still have every little detail, and fact about every little shoot, from 20 years ago, and since the beginning I keep all records of everything, on 2 external hard drives, and online.

Staying on time, involves preparation and balancing dozens of models.

When things going wrong,, usually, I won’t get distracted on set, or angry or be unprofessional, but finding undertows and anomalies, does affect the outcome of production, and the editorial process. The Kennedy shoot was all planned, but they added 6 extra models with no notice.. oh ok.. no problem..I was only 30 minute late. I had to change everything around in a flash, and clothes and concepts. Besides, that shoot was, in a 23 bedroom mansion in Malibu. running all over the place.

I usually freak out after, at home, post traumatic model stress… mostly the saboteur blackhole models sucking the life out of me.

but everyone else is chill.
